Abstract:
This dataset shows thirteen measured oxides across four chondrite samples with varying petrologic types. Analyses are from pyroxene grains from twelve chondrules and related Mn-rich chondrule rims. This dataset is used to understand how these pyroxene Mn-rich rims formed on chondrules in CO3 chondrites. The related paper is focused on interpreting the implications this has for the composition of nebular dust in the protoplanetary nebula.
