Abstract:
This SIMS D/H ratio dataset was collected at Arizona State University using a Cameca 6f instrument. It highlights the D/H ratio of apatite grains within the Lafayette martian meteorite (Smithsonian Museum thin section 505, see SEM image 3728). EMPA major and minor element data are also presented for each apatite, having been collected at the University of Edinburgh. This dataset is linked to the article ‘Hallis, L., Christou, E., Davidson, J., Distel, A., Hervig, R. (2025) The D/H ratio of the Martian Mantle: Evidence from the Lafayette Meteorite. Advances in Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry.'
